Terms of Service — Evaluation Release

Last updated: 16 August 2026.

These Terms govern access to and use of Gausspeak during its experimental evaluation phase. By creating or using an account, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Evaluation status

Gausspeak is currently provided free of charge for experimental testing and evaluation. Features, models, limits and interfaces may change. Availability is not guaranteed, and the evaluation release may contain errors, incomplete features or uncalibrated model components.

2. Decision-support only

Gausspeak measures and models organizational dynamics and can generate interpretations, probabilistic trajectories and intervention hypotheses. Outputs are intended to support human judgment. They are not guarantees, professional advice, factual predictions, or substitutes for competent human review.

3. Restricted and high-risk uses

You must not use Gausspeak as the sole or determinative basis for decisions that create legal or similarly significant effects for an individual, including recruitment, dismissal, promotion, compensation, worker monitoring, credit, insurance, medical treatment, legal determinations or other regulated high-risk decisions. Gausspeak is not designed for biometric identification, social scoring, or automated profiling of natural persons for such purposes.

4. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the lawfulness, accuracy and appropriateness of data you enter, for obtaining any permissions or consents required for collaborative or research use, and for independently reviewing outputs before acting on them. Do not upload data that you are not entitled to process or disclose.

5. Research and evaluation

Where a project is explicitly included in research, Gausspeak may preserve pseudonymised research records and frozen dataset snapshots for reproducibility and methodological testing. Research inclusion is distinct from ordinary use of the platform and should follow the recorded consent and inclusion status applicable to the project.

6. Intellectual property

The Gausspeak software, interface, models, documentation, visual identity and original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Gausspeak® is a registered European Union trade mark, EUTM No. 019264845. The Gausspeak® name and mark are legally protected and may not be used in a manner that implies ownership, affiliation, endorsement or authorization without prior written permission. No right to copy, reverse engineer, resell, sublicense or commercially exploit the service or its protected assets is granted except where expressly agreed in writing.

7. User content

You retain rights in content you lawfully provide. You grant Gausspeak the limited rights necessary to host, process, analyse and display that content for operation of the service and, where separately permitted, for evaluation or research purposes.

8. No warranty

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the evaluation release is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, scientific validity or achievement of any particular outcome.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Gausspeak and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or reliance-based losses arising from use of evaluation outputs, loss of data, business interruption or decisions taken without appropriate independent review. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Suspension and termination

Access may be suspended or terminated where reasonably necessary to protect security, privacy, research integrity, other users, or the service itself, or where these Terms are materially breached. You may stop using the service at any time and may request deletion of personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Changes

These Terms may be updated as Gausspeak moves from evaluation toward a commercial release or as legal, security or research requirements change. The current version will be published here.
